ZUK Mobile is a Chinese mobile phone company set up in May 2015. ZUK Mobile's parent company is a world-renowned Lenovo. ZUK phones have a modified ROM, CíanogenMod, which is naturally based on Android. The company's first mobile phone, ZUK Z1, was announced on August 11, 2015 in Beijing. Within the next two days, nearly 1.5 million pre-orders arrived. Since then, several top and mid-range phones have been released under the name ZUK.
