The Redmi series has been updated: here is the 5G Redmi Note 9T and the updated Redmi 9T

Redmi has updated its product range with two new models. Here’s the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T with 5G support, and a new mid-range mobile, the Redmi 9T is an improved version of the previous Redmi 9. New Redmi mobiles are now available to order.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T 5G

Last year, several Redmi mobiles were released that had 5G support. These were, for example, the Redmi K30 5G, the Redmi K30 Pro 5G, the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G or the Redmi 10x Pro.

The newly launched Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T can finally bring 5G technology to the mid-range around the world, as the manufacturer has primarily launched this model to the global market.

The Redmi Note 9T is a 5G 5G mobile phone with a 6.53" IPS panel that has agreed on a maximum light density of 450 nits at 60 Hz.

The FHD+ resolution, Gorilla Glass 5 glass-protected display is housed in a 161.96 x 77.25 x 9.05 millimeter and 199 gram water-repellent plastic housing that offers dual-channel multimedia sound and a 5,000 mAh battery. The latter supports 18-watt fast charging on a USB-C port, and a 22.5-watt adapter is included in its package.

The point, of course, is on the hardware, and the Dimensity 800U, built on an eight-core, 7nm node, is one of the first 5G MediaTek chipsets to officially arrive in global market, with dual 5G capabilities anyway. The Redmi Note 9T, expected to be available in early February in a 4/64 GB package, is currently available for $230, with a 4/128 GB version at a premium of $50. Not yet available in many stores, the new model is only available from Mi Global Store’s Aliexpress store.

The phone offers a total of four cameras, one on the front panel (13 megapixel camera, f/2.25 aperture) and three on the back of the Mi 10T Lite. The main unit is 48 megapixels (1/2", f/1.79, autofocus) with a 2-2 megapixel macro and depth sensor. Ultra-wide camera is missing, jack output, FM radio, side fingerprint reader, but not NFC and infrared.

Not with 5G capabilities, but with pleasant pricing, the Redmi 9T, which also gets a drip-resistant nano-coating, promises all the more, which, despite its name, is no smaller structure, in fact: it offers a 6.53" FHD + IPS panel with only 400 nits of white light and Gorilla Glass The design is also a bit different, as the 8-megapixel camera has a drip and non-perforated design at the front, and at the back the set is specifically bidding on the more expensive T-model. (120 degree angle of view, f/2.2 aperture).

The Redmi 9T introduces the eight-core, 4G Snapdragon 662 mobile platform, in a 4/64 GB configuration at a particularly good price of $160, and we only have to spend $30 more for the 4/128 GB version.

This phone is no smaller than the 6000 mAh battery that can be charged up to 18 watts on the Type-C port, the included adapter is say 22.5 watts here as well. It also has a stereo speaker, NFC, infrared and FM radio using the jack output. The Redmi 9T can also be pre-ordered on the Aliexpress site from the Mi Global Store.
