In May, Oukitel first unveiled plans for its newest product, the Oukitel Y4800, which features the first 48 MP Sony camera. We didn't have to wait long for the release, available from one of the larger webshops from yesterday. Now with introductory discount prices, gift accessories.
Not only the 48 MP camera is new, but also the MediaTek Helio P70 system chip working under the back cover. In their latest handset, the 10,000 mAh battery, the Oukitel K12 comes with the mid-range Helio P35, and the Oukitel U23 launched earlier this year with the Helio P23 SoC.
The 12nm eight-core Helio P70 is the current strongest MediaTek system chip, so the manufacturer couldn't have chosen any better. It reduce power consumption rate and offers powerful performance.
The high-performance SoC comes with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal storage, and for those who don't have enough, expand it with a MicroSD card.
The Y4800 runs easily on the latest ad-free Android 9.0 system and, thanks to the ARM Mali G-72 graphics unit, will not be a major problem with 3D games.
The front panel features a 6.3-inch, drop-notch, FullHD + (1080x2340-pixel) IPS display that fills almost the entire plane. Only the 16MP AI front-facing camera looks at us in the small cut. Thanks to the slim bezel, despite the sizeable display, the size of the device itself was not large (157 x 74.8 millimeters).
The battery was not spared by the manufacturer - although this component was never spared by Oukitel - a 4000mAhs battery was placed underneath the back cover, which according to official data it is enought about 13 hours of video, 23 hours of phone calls or 7 hours of gaming. Fortunately, there is a quick charge option: with a factory charger with Micro USB, up to 18 watts of power can quickly charge up to 100%.
Fortunately, Oukitel doesn't want to miss the camera race either, and finally a good looking pair of cameras has been placed on the back of the Oukitel Y4800. The 48 megapixel camera with 1/2 inch sensor size and bright f / 1.8 aperture is exceptionally good in the mid-range and utilizes the AI (Artificial Intelligence) processing system in the Helio P70 for image processing.
A new night mode has been added to the camera software which, when activated, can improve the quality of the images we shoot at night or in lower light conditions. It is safe to say that with the new Oukitel mobile phone you can take better quality photos than usual.
Underneath the main camera is a wide-angle 5 megapixel unit that lets you shoot much larger areas as needed.
The phone also excels in wireless communications, with Bluetooth version 4.2, dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac) and Glonass, Beidou-enabled positioning system. We can protect your with fingerprint reader on the back or even face recognition.
In the first part of the article, I have already written that the Oukitel Y4800, with no secret intent, wants to compete with the popular Xiaomi Redmi Note 7. Admitting this will not be an easy task, but thanks to the larger internal memory and lower price, there will certainly be people who will choose the Y4800.
As an introductory deal, you can now order the Y4800 for only $199.99, plus first orderers get a Xiaomi phone ring and a silicone case for free. A more exciting gift can be pocketed, though the chances are much lower: every day, the first buyer gets an Xiaomi Mi Band 4 smart bracelet.
