Around the house of Honor, we have become accustomed to launching a previously released Huawei device, with a slight redesign, but with almost the same parameters, as the Honor. This is also the case with the Honor 9X, which is an almost one-on-one Huawei P Smart Pro. Fortunately, its pricing has become much more affordable, so I would be happy to recommend it to anyone in the mid-range thanks to its great value for money.
The Honor 9X has been marketed with a unique design: keeping the back cover light, a distinctive X letter emerges, which is very beautiful not only in the promotional images, but also live. Staying on the back, the cameras also come with a fingerprint reader that can be written as a difference from the Huawei P Smart Pro’s hidden button on the side button.
By the way, we can't complain about cameras in this price range at all. A total of three imaging cameras were placed, in addition to the 48-megapixel main camera (f/1.8), an 8-megapixel wide-angle (120° FOV) fixed-focus sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The front panel camera is searched in vain, it is hidden by default. Hidden in the top of the Honor 9X, the 16-megapixel front-facing camera is motorized when used. The implementation is very similar to last year’s popular Xiaomi Mi 9T/Mi 9T Pro models.
Thanks to the motorized, hidden self-timer camera, the 6.59-inch FullHD + resolution IPS display covers almost the entire front panel. The size of 163.5 x 77.3 millimeters at this size of display is downright "small." True, over the past few years, small-sized mobile as a term has been completely revalued.
Below the back cover is the manufacturer’s own eight-core HiSilicon Kirin 710F system chip, which is about level with the Snapdragon 665. Perfect for general use, not for running hardware-intensive games. We find 4 GB of system memory in this model and 128 GB of storage (UFS 2.1). The latter can, of course, be expanded, at the expense of the second SIM card, with up to a 512GB MicroSD card.

In the field of data communication, the Honor 9X supports the dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11 ac) and Bluetooth 4.2 standards already expected in the category. No one will have a problem with mobile networks in EU either, as it can connect to all the LTE bands available in EU (including the B20). Infra and NFC, on the other hand, are no longer included in the price, so anyone who thinks about this device is forced to ignore these convenience features.

The battery has a capacity of 4000mAh, which is enough for about 120 hours of listening to music, 13 hours of video playback, or 8 hours of gaming. With mixed use, two-day uptime can be easily brought with the Honor 9x.
In the event of a discharge, it can be recharged using the included 10W power supply with a USB Type-C terminal. Unfortunately, faster charging is not possible this time.
The Honor 9X is currently available at a discounted price from TomTop's stock in Germany for $ 209.99. For that, it can be a particularly good offer for someone looking for a well-used cell phone for around $ 200. Delivery is completely free, and you don't have to worry about VAT and customs duties when ordering in Europe from an EU warehouse. The expected delivery time is about 3-5 working days.
