After Ulefone and Oukitel, Blackview also announced this year’s top rugged mobile phone, the Blackview BL6000 Pro, which of course has already come with 5G support.
Blackview’s latest rugged smartphone wants to catch up with other manufacturers, so they’ve also released their own 5G rugged smartphone. Of the manufacturer’s own devices, the BL6000 Pro is clearly the most powerful model today, so it is the manufacturer’s current flagship. Compared to previous rugged phones, this device has already received quite a bit of hardware, so it is not only powerful on the outside but also on the inside. Suffice it to mention that it is 5G capable, comes with 8GB of RAM and has 256GB of storage.

So far, the most powerful Blackview model in the manufacturer’s offering was the Blackview BV9900 Pro, which also has strong hardware, but the BL6000 Pro took first place.
Plus, it’s pre-ordered - even cheaper than its predecessor. What makes the BL6000 Pro less is that the thermal imager was left out. The competition is currently making its phone with similar knowledge more expensive, so the new Blackview model has a high chance in the market. Beneath the back is a Mediatek Dimensity 800 chip, which is about the same as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G in performance.

The memory capacity of 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM is enough for all applications. The storage is 256 GB, which is also the size that will be ample in 2021. The display is a 6.36-inch LCD IPS type with a resolution of 2300 × 1080 pixels and Gorilla Glass 3 protects it from scratches. On the back are three camera sensors, the main sensor of which is a Sony IMX582, which is 48 MP.
The phone has a 5280 mAh Li-Po battery that can be charged with 18 watts via the Type-C port, or use the wireless technology that the BL6000 Pro is fortunately familiar with.

The device is very powerful in various data transfer technologies. They are equipped with NFC, dual WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, B20 4G, but what is a big step forward is that it also has 5G support.
Its durable features do not explicitly present anything new, and recent models also have these features. It withstands the pressure of a 1.5-meter water column for 30 minutes and, for less time, a high-pressure water jet. Dropped from a height of 1.5 meters, it will not hurt and can withstand the cold of -30 degrees Celsius. On its side is a customizable function key, which we have already seen on other Blackview phones. Its operating system is Android 10. The only downside can be discovered from the product page, and that is the lack of a jack, but a Type-C headset is added to the device.
The long-distance phone came with pricing as we expected, the final price tag will be nearly $500, but you can now get it cheaper by pre-ordering. For the time being, the first round pre-order is still underway, so the Blackview BL6000 Pro is now available for $399.
