As part of Huawei’s autumn full product launch, in a highly anticipated event, the tech giant has unveiled the Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2-inch, claimed to be the world’s lightest and thinnest bezel-less large tablet.
This device features a borderless screen design and comes bundled with the innovative HUAWEI M-Pencil equipped with NearLink technology.

The tablet stands out as the world’s lightest and thinnest large-format tablet, weighing a mere 580g and measuring only 5.5mm in thickness, with ultra-slim 3.4mm bezels. It boasts an OLED display with a 3:2 aspect ratio, offering an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 94%.
The screen resolution is a stunning 2880×1920 pixels, and it supports a 144Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, with a ΔE<1 color accuracy. It also features a global P3 color gamut, 1000 nits peak brightness, and 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio.
With support for HDR Vivid and Rheinland Full-Chain Eye Protection 3.0, this tablet ensures a visually immersive and comfortable experience, aided by Huawei’s proprietary Natural Light Sensing Display technology.
The MatePad Pro 13.2 comes in three stylish colors: Elegant River Cyan, Crystal Diamond White, and Obsidian Gold.
Starry Flash Technology and HUAWEI M-Pencil (Third Generation)
Making its debut alongside the device is the HUAWEI M-Pencil (Third Generation), marking the world’s first product to employ Starlight technology. The StarLight pen boasts over ten thousand levels of pressure sensitivity, provide a lightning-fast and stable connection with a minimum delay of close to 0 ms, akin to a professional digital drawing experience.
With faster ink response and finer strokes, this pen delivers a superior writing and drawing experience. Furthermore, the tablet can be paired with the all-new detachable intelligent magnetic all-area touchpad keyboard.
Performance That Leaves You Impressed
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the same SoC found in the Mate 60 series, the Kirin 9000s. It incorporates stainless steel VC and a 52000m² high thermal conductivity graphite cooling system. With a built-in 10100mAh battery, it supports an impressive 88W fast charging, allowing it to charge to 85% in just 40 minutes and reaching a full charge in 65 minutes.
The tablet comes equipped with a 16MP front camera with ToF technology and a 13MP+8MP dual rear camera setup. Additionally, it features dual-channel 6 speakers (two high-frequency and four low-frequency), supporting spatial audio and Huawei SOUND certification. It runs on the latest HarmonyOS 4 operating system.
