T-Bao N9N Pro Mini PC – specification

The mini PC is powered by Intel’s latest generation 8-core Core i3-N305 processor, which offers enough performance for the average user in all areas. In terms of speed, it is so much improved over the previous generation i3 processors that it is now close to the speed of the previous i5 products. While its power consumption is barely noticeable at just 9W.

The N9N Pro Mini is available in two versions. The cheaper product comes with 8 GB DDR5 4800 MHz memory and a 256 GB SSD, while the slightly more expensive one comes with 12 GB DDR5 memory and 512 GB of back-up storage. The difference in price is currently around €20, which is very little, so it’s worth buying the second model.

If even 512GB of storage isn’t enough, you can insert any size hard drive or SSD into the 2.5-inch space under the back.

Unfortunately, the official promotional images on the webshop are full of errors, here are some of them:

advertises the 8-core i3-N305 processor as quad-core
It describes the new processor as a 12th generation processor, while the new processor is already a 13th generation
the Mini PC weighs 240 grams in the pictures, which is a lot more, but at 739 grams it is still very light
It compares the i3-N305 processor to the Celeron N5105, with an extra 20 percent performance boost. Well, the i3N305 is not in the same league as that Celeron processor, with more than double the performance of the entry-level N5105.
The processor’s Turbo frequency is listed as 3.4GHz, whereas the i3-N305 can scale up to 3.8GHz
