A new picture of the Realme GT 5 has been leaked on Weibo. This time, it reveals the front of the upcoming high-end phone. The image shows a barely visible cavity around the display.
The last we heard of Realme’s latest top-of-the-range handset, the Realme GT 5, was at the end of July, when a picture of a display of the handset was posted on the internet, along with a picture of the handset with the caption “coming soon”. The GT 5 is due to be released soon, and if rumours are to be believed, it could be unveiled in China as early as the end of the month.
Recently, another picture of the phone was posted by a trusted Weibo user. The picture reveals a few small things, mainly design elements.

Realme GT 5 – Display, material
From the picture, you can clearly see the minimal cavity around the display. The front camera lens will be located at the top of the screen. Looking closely at the image, we can even notice that the GT 5 will have both a Type-C port and a microphone jack. Speaker holes will also be located at the bottom of the phone.
From the picture we can see, although it’s natural for a high-end phone, that the frame will certainly be made of metal. The Weibo page also says that the back texture of the GT 5 will be really special.
Realme GT 5 features – what we know so far
The specs of the Realme GT 5 have been revealed a few days ago. We know that the front panel will feature a 6.74-inch AMOLED display. In terms of battery and charging, the phone is above average. Two different variants will be available: the 4600 mAh version will be capable of 240 W fast charging, while the 5200 mAh device will be capable of 150 W fast charging.
What’s certain is that there will be no shortage of performance, thanks to Qualcomm’s lightning-fast processor, the Snapdargon 8 Gen 2. There will also be several memory variants available. What’s for sure is that the most equipped model will have up to 24GB of LPDDRx memory and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
The front-facing camera is expected to be 16 megapixels, while the rear cameras will be 50 megapixels, plus an 8 megapixel and a two megapixel unit.
The question will be whether the Realme GT 5 can beat its rival phones. The recently announced Redmi K60 Ultra and the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro both came out with some serious specs and excellent features, so it won’t be an easy task for Realme’s new model.
As soon as the Realme GT 5 officially launches, we’ll write a more detailed review of the device.
