The OneOdio A30 wireless headphone with active noise filter has arrived, which can be ordered for 39 Euros at a special price. The new product tested performed well, so we strongly recommend it to anyone.

OneOdio A30 - ANC HeadPhone

We last tested the OneOdio A70 headphones, a manufacturer unknown to us for the first time, which launched a high-quality, well-assembled headphones with a great sound world, which you could also order from a dirty EU warehouse.

Introduction – Where to buy it?

The OneOdio A30 is the latest product in the manufacturer’s Active Noise Canceling (ANC) product line, replacing the A40 series. OneOdio has European stock and a 2-year warranty on all products, which sounds positive.
If you order the headphones from the official site, the delivery is also extremely fast, usually the product will arrive within a week. In addition to each order, the manufacturer also gives a gift, the product that came with us included a table stand and a demanding carrying bag. So far, we have had two products, none of which have been disappointing, especially when we look at the fact that neither of them has reached 40 Euros.

The OneOdio A30 wireless headphones are currently up for €55.99 on the official website, which is already a good price by default, but with the GET30 coupon code, you can carve an additional 30 percent off the final price. Thus, with a coupon code, the final amount is 39.20 euros.

You can access and order the product on the official website via this link:

The product came in a small gray-white box in which we find the headphones and their accessories in a fine, leathery carrying case. This time, too, the gift came separately: the black little bag and a collapsible table stand.

List of accessories in the original box:

  •      A black carrying case
  •      USB Type-C charging cable (50 cm)
  •      A 3.5 mm jack-jack cable (120 cm)
  •      Jack airplane connector converter
  •      User Manual (English / German / Chinese)

In addition to the product, you will find all the useful accessories you may need. For me, the 120cm jack cable was short as the audio jack on my desktop computer is a little further away.

On the back of the box you can read the full specification:

  •      Model name: A30
  •      Wireless operation: Yes (Bluetooth)
  •      Bluetooth version: V5.0
  •      Bluetooth unit: QCC3003
  •      Bluetooth profile: HFP / HSP / A2DP / AVRCP
  •      Wired operation: Yes (3.5mm)
  •      Impedance: 100 ± 3dB
  •      Resistance: 32 Ω
  •      Speaker: 40mm
  •      Battery size: 500 mAh
  •      Charging time: approx. 2.5 hours
  •      Operating time ANC + BT: 15 hours
  •      Operating time BT: 25 hours
  •      Operating time ANC: 45 hours
  •      Bluetooth distance: 10 meters
  •      Weight: 268 grams
  •      Frequency transmission: 20 Hz to 20 KHz
  •      Active noise filtering: Yes (26 ± 3dB)
  •      Microphone: Yes (CVC 8.0)

Weighing just 268 grams, the headphones are made entirely of black, quality materials, and the headband and earpieces have a pleasantly soft cover. Compared to the A70, the A30 is much more comfortable for me, it doesn’t squeeze my head. The strap can be pulled out on both sides, up to a maximum of 30 millimeters, so you can adjust it quickly as needed.

Both the left and right earpieces can be rotated 90 degrees and folded. When folded, it takes up little space, if necessary, it can be easily cut into pockets.

On the left are the 3.5mm audio output connector, the wireless mode power button, and the two volume controls.
These keys have several functions: the power key stops or starts the music you are currently listening to while listening to music, and you can add (press once) or reject (press twice) incoming calls when the Bluetooth connection is active.
After pressing and holding the volume key, you can fast forward (+) or rewind (-) the currently playing music. And if you press the + or – button at the same time for five seconds, you can delete the current Bluetooth connection.

The USB Type-C charger connector and the active noise filter switch are located on the right tab. After turning on the latter, a green little LED indicates to us that noise filtering is active. According to the manufacturer’s data, the noise filter can neutralize noise of up to 26 dB. During the test, I tried it in a room with a TV, while traveling, and in a car (as a passenger only), and compared to an average headset, there was noticeably less noise filtered everywhere. For example, while traveling by bus, I could hardly hear the roar of the bus or the conversation of the passengers at all.

From the above description, it was already clear that the OneOdio A30 can be used in wired or wireless mode. If you use it with a cord, you can, of course, expect infinite operating time, as this is practically a traditional earphone. Unless, of course, you use the active noise filter, you can then use it for about 45 hours on a single charge.
In wired mode, you cannot use the function keys or the microphone does not work. It is important to note that the wired mode only works if the battery is not completely discharged.

The wireless connection is via Bluetooth (5.0). Pairing is extremely quick and easy to set up:

  1.     Press and hold the power button for three seconds, then the device enters pairing mode (red and blue LEDs alternately)
  2.     Put your phone or other Bluetooth device that you want to connect to near the headset
  3.     Turn on Bluetooth on your phone and look for a new device -> “A30” (if you need a PIN or password for pairing, use 0000)
  4.     If the pairing is successful, the LED flashes blue

The sound world of the headphones fits me better than the most recently tested A70 series, where the bass suppressed the music a bit. I’m not an audiophile, but the OneOdio A30 really sounds great, balanced, not too forced deep and thanks to the clear highs, the music was enjoyable for all styles of music.

The A30 is also great for making calls in wireless mode, as it has a built-in microphone with good CVC 8.0 (Clear Voice Capture) technology. Thanks to CVC, background noise is filtered out by the electronics during the conversation, leaving a clear, intelligible speech tone. During the testing, I also used the headset several times to make phone calls, and no one on the other side complained, most of the time they didn’t even notice that I wasn’t talking through the phone’s microphone.

OneOdio A30 ANC Wireless Headphone - Review

The OneOdio A30 wireless, active noise-canceling headphones have been tested by me, and under 40 Euros it is hard to find a better one.
If I had to choose between the last tested A70 and the current A30, I would vote for the latter without thinking. Primarily because of the clearer sound, but of course the presence of an active noise filter is not the last consideration.
For those who prefer a more dynamic, more powerful bass sound system, I would recommend the OneOdio A70, which could also be ordered with a coupon code (kinatech3) at a very good price, from €36.99 from EU stock. Moreover, for those who are not in a hurry, you can get the A70 from a Hong Kong warehouse even cheaper, for around €29.99.

The OneOdio A30 is currently in its introductory promotion, with coupon code GET30, for just €39.20, from European stock, with a 2-year warranty and surprise additional gifts.
